Available since the middle of May, the handset delivers the latest Windows Phone 8 operating system, an extremely high pixel density and a large high-resolution display.

The Nokia Lumia 920 was a big hit thanks to its PureView camera technology and PureMotion HD+ display, but was a bit heavy and cumbersome for some people. The handset measures just 0.40 inches (10.1 mm) in thickness, and comes equipped with special high-performance microphones capable of capturing up to 140dB sound without distortion.
The Windows Phone 8 operating system runs the show, and the display measures a large 4.50 inches. That AMOLED screen is home to more than 16 million independent colors, providing interaction by supporting capacitive, multitouch gestures. Nokia chose a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 system-on-a-chip to power the Lumia 928 4G, and it is built around a speedy dual core 1.5 GHz processor. 1.0 GB of RAM is on board, and a generous 32 GB of built-in data storage space is present.
The handset offers NFC wireless connectivity out-of-the-box, as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and DLNA video out options. The high-end camera on the back of the phone provides several different “lenses”, which are actually applications offering different customization and special effects features.
