Verizon Wireless is more well known as a mobile company that brings software updates to customers quite slowly, has some of the higher costs when it comes to data plans and still issues activation fees when you pick up a new smartphone. According to a leaked screenshot, it looks like Verizon Wireless could be discounting those fees within the month of February with hopes of gaining some new attention from would be customers. The company has not announced this deal at this time, but screenshots from a training message have been posted online for all to see.
The message is listed as confidential and notes that Verizon Wireless will begin offering a $100 credit to your bill if you meet some pretty easy requirements. If you are in the market for a new smartphone with data plan, you should check out Verizon Wireless as they are planning to offer you a $100 credit to your bill should you activate your device between February 7th and February 28th. You can combine this offer with the free activation promotion through the 17th of this month as well. The new line much remain active on your account for 60 days with the credit being applied on the third month’s bill.
The total savings for a brand new smartphone with new 2-year contract could be as high as $135. If you are looking to add a line to your family plan or just planning to switch to Verizon Wireless and needed a reason to do so, the time is now. The new Moto X, Moto G, iPhone 5S and 5C are all available on the Verizon Wireless network right now. The Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3 and the HTC One can also be purchased on the largest 4G LTE network in the country.
If you are going to switch and are looking at one of the older devices, Verizon will give you the iPhone 4S, Droid Ultra, Droid Mini and the Ellipsis 7 at no additional cost when you sign up for a new 2-year contract, but that deal is only hear for a limited time so check Verizon’s website for more information.
