A lot of high-end devices and flagship smartphones have been released since May of this year but nothing can seem to stop the juggernaut that is the Samsung Galaxy S III. The Samsung flagship device released back in the latter parts of May is still by far the best smartphone you can get your hands on in the market today and this is no longer surprising because the handset comes with fire-breathing components in its internals and brings to the table a bevy of very impressive capabilities. So impressed were the smartphone-buying population with the Samsung Galaxy S III that they gobbled up the handset where it was available. The result – sales figures of the handset has now reached the 30 million mark since it first made its debut in the shelves back in May.
Reviewers and critics alike were hard-pressed to look for snags on the Samsung Galaxy S III but this proved to be a daunting task. With the minor issue with its build quality that came out during the early parts of its existence, there was no major pain point found on the handset. If there was any gripe about the Samsung Galaxy S III, it is the time it took for its manufacturer to finally get it upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Although Samsung already managed to rollout the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in Europe, Asia and some other territories, our smartphone-crazed brethren in US shores (with the exception of those rocking Sprint’s version of the handset) are still waiting for the Android 4.1 refresh to land on their respective devices. But if the recent Jelly Bean leaks are any indication, word on the street is that the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III could be the next variant of the handset to finally get upgraded to Jelly Bean.
This, after another leaked Jelly Bean build for the Big Red version of the handset surfaced yet again. Remember, just last week, a leaked Jelly Bean build found its way to the internet but this time around, speculation is that this latest leaked build could possibly be the final Jelly Bean build for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III. Should you be interested in finding out what the “possible” final Jelly Bean build looks like, you can download the pertinent files and have them flashed onto your device. A word of caution though – tinkering with your device is the surest way to losing your warranty so please be very careful.
