And now, Big Red is as it again as the wireless provider announced yet another expansion in its already massive LTE coverage. The carrier is continuing the expansive rollout of its 4G LTE network with the announcement that it is expanding and improving its LTE coverage in several locations in New York. Verizon subscribers in these areas packing LTE-capable smartphones from the carrier such as the vaunted Samsung Galaxy S III may or may not already have access to the 4G LTE network of the wireless provider but Big Red has promised that expansion can be expected in these areas which are listed below:
- Poughkeepsie, New York
- Greene County, New York
- Utica-Rome, New York
- Binghamton, New York
With this announcement, Verizon is steadily moving along with its plan getting more and more markets covered by its 4G LTE network. At this point in time, it is no longer surprising that the carrier is more focused in the expansion of its current markets since almost all major areas in our side of the world is already enjoying the benefits brought about by Big Red’s LTE network such as blazing-fast mobile internet speeds.
With this development, our smartphone-crazed brethren in the said areas mentioned above packing a Verizon variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III now has a wider and more improved LTE playground to bask in and take advantage of the wireless provider’s LTE network.
