It’s hard to believe we have already had the HTC Rezound 4G Android smartphone in our hands for nine months. That is a veritable lifetime and then some for a smartphone in today’s rapidly changing mobile handset arena. But the phone that debuted in November of last year and delivered the Beats by Dr. Dre audio application for the first time to a handset in the United States was an immediate bestseller for Verizon and their 4G LTE network, and has remained a bestseller and flagship phone ever since. That Beats Audio is accompanied by a pair of fully integrated iBeats ear buds that ship with the handset. The black and red ear buds contain a built-in microphone and in-line remote for hands-free calls and music selection management when answering a voice call. The HTC Rezound is currently available starting at $99 at select online retailers.

Display resolution runs 720 x 1,280 pixels, delivered at 342 pixels per inch, one of the highest resolutions of any 4G smartphone. Proximity and light sensors help conserve battery life and automatically adjust for the proper display brightness.
In the hardware package on board the Rezound 4G, a Qualcomm MSM8660 Snapdragon microchip set is centered around a dual core 1.5 GHz Scorpion central processor that benefits from the presence of an entirely separate chip that handles all graphics requests and processing, an Adreno 220 GPU. 16 GB of storage are built-in and 1.0 GB of RAM system memory is on board.
