The World Mobile Congress in Barcelona, which started on Monday, saw ZTE shock its peers with the sheer number of smartphones and tablets that it has managed to release at the same time. After having announced its ZTE Era and ZTE Orbit recently, the company came up with six more smartphones in a press conference.
The first one is the ZTE PF112 with Android 4.0 and a 4 inch screen with 720p resolution. Fitted with an impressive 8MP camera, it comes with 8GB of storage and 1 GB RAM. It offers Wi-Fi, FM, Bluetooth 3.0, HSPA+ connectivity and HD Voice.
The ZTE Mimosa X was also released officially, though its specifications have been known from leaks. The smartphone is powered by NVIDIA’s dual core Tegra 2 chip and is fitted with a 5MP camera and a secondary front facing one. Internal storage space is of 4 GB but can be expanded up to 32GB through a microSD slot. The phone has a 4.3” display with qHD resolution and supports dual microphones, Dolby sound and runs on Android ICS.
Next in line is the ZTE PF200 which also comes with Android 4.0 and runs on a dual core Qualcomm processor at 1.5GHz. It supports LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 and has a 4.3 inch qHD screen. An 8MP camera has been provided along with a 1 GB RAM. Internal storage, unfortunately, is only 4 GB like the Mimosa X.
Next in line is the ZTE N91 is a mid-ranger with a dual core processor of 1.2GHz, 512 MB RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and a 4.3-inch WVGA display screen. This phone also comes with Android 4.0 and LTE connectivity.
The ZTE Skate Acqua is a follow up of the ZTE Kis, and both disappointingly run on Android Gingerbread instead of ICS. The Skate Acqua has a 1GHz processor and 512 MB RAM with 4GB internal storage. It also sports a 5MP camera and a decent 1600mAh battery. The latter runs on the Qualcomm MSM7225A chipset which features an 800MHz processor and sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash. 256 MB RAM is included along with surprisingly low internal storage space at 200MB.
The ZTE Blade II is similar to the Skate Acqua with a 3.5 inch display and 5 megapixel camera. It has an additional front camera of 0.3 MP resolution and runs on a 1GHz processor sporting 512MB RAM and Android 2.3 OS with Mifavor UI, which is ZTE’s customized version of Android. It features slightly varied home options and additional tweaks in the file manager, music application and camera.
